The Le Mans Classic is held every two years; 2025 will see the 12th Le Mans Classic continue its’ rapid ascendancy to being one of the great historic motor racing events. It will put together the cars which wrote the 24 Hour history book between 1923 and 1979 – in total, it is expected there will be more than 350 participants.
The paddocks and village will open from Thursday afternoon. In keeping with tradition, the start will be on Saturday at 16:00 with the finish 24 hours later. The cars will be divided into six grids, each representing a different era. They will follow each other on the track, hour after hour, for 24 hours. The start of the race will take the form of a traditional Le Mans start.
In addition to an exhibition of an array of wonderful cars, this international historic car meeting will also feature a parade of European Clubs on the long circuit and an auction of collectors’ cars and automobilia.
