Thousands of bikes converge on Le Mans for this round of the Moto GP Championship. Don’t forget there are 2 free rock concerts on Friday and Saturday also a stunt rider on Saturday. It’s an event packed with entertainment. The general admission ticket is simply great value for money.
The French roads are good for biking and Le Mans is a relatively easy ride. From Calais, the distance to Le Mans is approximately 280 miles and from Caen it is just 105 miles. The crossing from Folkestone to Calais is a quick 35 minutes. The viewing on the legendary Le Mans circuit is excellent and the atmosphere is second to none.

Our hotels are only in Le Mans some are actually within walking distance of the circuit. We call ourselves “on site” because that is exactly what we deliver – no coach transfers, no long drives – accommodation where it should be.
The Premiere Classe has been chosen as it is within walking distance of the Le Mans tramway system. The tramway takes you both to the centre of Le Mans and to Antares, where you would alight for the circuit. It is a superb development for Le Mans.

The Premiere Classe Universite has 69 rooms and is very well located in north-west Le Mans, being only 6 km from the circuit and 3 km from the centre of the town. The nearest tramway stop is approximately 200 metres from the hotel. This will take you into Antares at the circuit and into the centre of town.
Each comfortable room is air conditioned with satellite television and en-suite bathroom. Breakfast is included and the hotel offers excellent car and bike parking for residents. Guests using this hotel must check-in prior to 21:00.

All ticket-holders can access Houx, Houx Annexe, Epinettes, Rouge, Bleu, Karting Sud or Beausejour areas free of charge to park or camp upon presentation of a general entrance ticket. These will be open from Thursday 08:00 to Monday 10:00. Please be aware that facilities are limited. Campsite pitches cannot be reserved and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

All grandstand tickets are for Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday and include the general admission ticket. All tickets – including general admission – include motorcycle parking at the Centre des Expositions, Rainieres or M1 Arena. Pitwalk is available on Friday morning (0930 – 1130) for all spectators with a weekend entrance ticket.
FREE general entrance for children under 16 on the date of the Grand Prix, accompanied by an adult with a ticket. Proof of identity necessary at all check points.

Ferries
Brittany Ferry supplement prices subject to fluctuation – call reservations for best options / quotes, and along with P&O Ferries offer a wide choice of departure times throughout the day and night. For Brittany Ferries, it is mandatory to purchase cabins (if available) for overnight crossings.
P&O Ferries offer priority boarding and Club Class Lounge on the Dover-Calais-Dover crossing.
Le Shuttle
Similarly, for Le Shuttle, Flexiplus (Club Class) travel is available although not on all days over the Le Mans week – please call reservations for a precise quote. FlexiPlus fares are perfect for travellers requiring convenience and flexibility – turn up early or late; you can travel on the next available shuttle. If you wish to amend your booking you can do so at no extra cost. As a FlexiPlus customer you have use of exclusive Check-in booths and you will be offered the next available departure. With a crossing time of only 35 minutes, Le Shuttle offers the fastest channel crossing. The service operates round the clock, 365 days a year with up to 3 departures an hour during peak periods.

Rail travel from London to Le Mans is possible via Lille. Please note that this is not a service offered by On Site Motorsports.
Air
Flights are freely available to Paris Charles de Gaulle from the UK. Within the airport is the train station and your onward connection to Le Mans would be by rail with a travel time of approximately 1 hour. Please note that this is not a service offered by On Site Motorsports.
